Cascading Greens: Varying shades mirror the lush vegetation along Arroyo Hondo, from vibrant spring growth to mature summer hues.

Boundary Black: Anchoring the spectrum, black defines and highlights the vibrant hues.

Thread Color - Verde Agua: This warp thread, symbolizing snowmelt and artesian waters from the Sangre de Cristo mountains, encapsulates the purity and freshness of natural elements.

As the shuttle moves across the loom, each thread tells the narrative of Arroyo Hondo, capturing its depth, vitality, and the awe-inspiring beauty of northern New Mexico. This fabric is more than just textile; it's a visual poem, a woven reflection of the land that inspires it.

Ladder Stripe - Rojo y Oro

Introducing our Southwest-inspired cotton fabric, a harmonious blend of rich colors and traditional motifs. This carefully crafted pattern combines two warp colors, red and gold, with a light orange weft, enhancing the overall two-tone vibrancy. Inspired by the Southwest USA, this canvas-weight fabric draws from the iconic Four Corners region, red chiles, yellow corn, or the New Mexico state flag.

Color Palette: Red: Symbolizing the earth, this rich and warm red mirrors the hues of Southwest cuisine's iconic red chiles.

Gold: A vibrant thread for ladder stripes, representing the sun and adding brightness and contrast, reminiscent of ripe corn.

Orange: Lively and harmonious, the light orange weft blends seamlessly with red and gold, creating a lively composition.

Ladder Stripe Technique: The gold warp, woven using the ladder stripe technique, forms intermittent stripes, adding visual interest and depth. These intertwined ladders echo the lines of ancient landscapes, infusing the fabric with a sense of history.

Design Layout: Ladder stripes are evenly spaced with intervals of alternating threads, red and gold, creating a balanced and captivating composition. The result is a fabric that not only showcases skillful weaving techniques but also tells a story of the Southwest's vivid colors and cultural heritage.
